Gamma exports to PDF, which works in Living Page on every plan.

Set a fixed page size first

Gamma’s cards are fluid by default: each one grows or shrinks to fit what’s on it. That suits scrolling in Gamma, but a flipbook is made of pages, and pages of different heights make an uneven book.

So before exporting, fix the size: … (the three-dot menu) → Page Setup, and choose a fixed size.

• For a presentation, a 16:9 size. It suits the reader and pitch mode.
• For a document or ebook, Gamma’s help recommends the Document format with A4 or Letter.

Then look through the cards. Anything that no longer fits its card is worth moving onto the next one before you export.

Export the PDF

1. Click Share → Export (or … → Export).
2. Choose PDF.
3. Set Image quality, and choose All cards.
4. If your cards have a fixed size, Zoom to fit scales the content to fill each page.
5. Export.

Gamma’s help notes that very long presentations (typically 150+ cards) or very large images can make an export fail, and that exports taking longer than about a minute are sent by email instead.

The Gamma badge

Gamma adds its badge to PDF exports made on its Free plan. Paid Gamma plans export without it. That’s Gamma’s setting, not ours; Living Page shows whatever is in the PDF.

Check before you upload

Gamma is interactive and a PDF isn’t, so open the exported PDF and check:

• One card per page, in the right order, with nothing cut off at the bottom of a page.
• Links: click one. If it opens in the PDF, it will open in the reader. See Keeping links clickable.
• Embeds and videos: they won’t play from a still page. Add videos back as overlays on a paid plan; see Links and video overlays.

Then upload the PDF like any other. When you change the Gamma later, export again and replace the document: the link, QR codes and embeds stay the same.
